North American Coal also provides
dragline mining services operating under the name "North
American Mining Company" for independently owned limerock
quarries in Florida
Market Position
America’s largest miner of lignite coal and the
7th largest coal producer nationwide (as of December
31, 2010). Coal is delivered from the mines
to adjacent or nearby power plants in Mississippi, North Dakota and
Texas
